Henry “Vic” Carlson

As Co-Owner/President of Everbearing Services and a seasoned professional Vic brings a wealth of experience in creative idea generation and execution. Previously Vic worked with senior management, sales, marketing and advertising teams to conceptualize and coordinate the advertising, marketing, and promotions activities at Johnstone Supply, a nationwide wholesale HVACR supply co-operative – a $1 billion business with operations in 48 states with over 340 member stores. He was responsible for the creation and delivery of cost-effective, revenue-generating marketing solutions to increase customer acquisition and retention.

He also served as a marketing consultant for The Art Exchange and was previously with PayLess Drug Stores in the 1990’s supervising the activities of the sales and the advertising teams in the generation of projects and publications to drive the sales of the largest West Coast drug store chain.

Offering his creative content generation and management experiences, Vic provides businesses the guidance and support they seek in increasing their retail sales through building stronger customer connections. Vic’s abilities in integrating objectives, developing plans, and implementing solutions facilitate greater customer return and retention.
Vic has a degree in graphic design and with the John M. Shank memorial scholarship he was awarded he is concluding a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and certificate in Marketing from Linfield College.

Vic served as a trained volunteer BSA Scoutmaster mentoring several Boy Scout troops in the planning and execution of numerous community service projects. Personally he has been involved in several SOLV community clean-up projects. He has participated in multiple charity fund-raising events – including the M.S. 150, Summit to Surf diabetes bike rides, and the Komen Race for the Cure walk for breast cancer.

As an avid outdoorsman and fitness enthusiast Vic has hiked, biked and canoed all-around the great Pacific Northwest, from riding in Cycle Oregon, and climbing Mt. Hood (and several other N.W. peaks), to canoeing in Canada. He has planned and led 6-10 day backpacking and canoeing trips, ran in eight Hood-To-Coast team relay races, competed in duathlons and bicycle races and tours. Vic is a trained volunteer CPR and First Aid responder.

Ron McCabe

During his 25-year tenure in the technology sector, Ron has been known for his introduction of innovative technologies in hardware, software, and chip design that have radically changed the market while generating strong sales and profits.

Ron was an early adopter of social networking technologies. As an active user of social networks like Facebook, LinkedIn, as well as Twitter, Ron has been fascinated by the ability these solutions have to bring people, organizations, and their interesting ideas closer to each other. As founder, president, and CEO of MiraLink Corporation, Ron McCabe has more than 14 years of experience in the rapidly emerging data storage and recovery industries. He is world-renowned for developing technologies that control the speed and use of memory bandwidth. At MiraLink, Ron has been instrumental in leading the development of cost-effective business continuity and data recovery storage appliances. Ron has been awarded eleven patents in this area.

Prior to founding MiraLink, Ron was the Director of Graphics and Multimedia at Everex, where he pioneered local bus technology and grew the graphics and multimedia division to $30 million in annual sales, a five-fold increase in just two and a half years. He is past chairman of the VL Bus Committee, where he was responsible for the development and ultimate industry standardization of VESA Local Bus. By bringing this pioneering, proprietary technology into the mainstream through standardization, Ron established the technology that the current PCI (Peripheral Component Interconnect) bus is based upon today.

Ron was a regular contributor to Electronic Design Magazine in the early nineties. He is most proud of his contributions to Computer Shopper magazine in the “Tech Talk” section during this period. This section was dedicated to helping the average computer user understand and get the best use out of new technologies.

As an active member of his community Ron has been an avid supporter of Kiva, Metropolitan Family Health Services, Centers for Independent Living, as well as other organizations and activities that assist individuals in gaining personal independence and prosperity. He is an accomplished cook that utilizes fresh local foods to create unique and healthy creations. Ron is interested in getting interesting heirloom vegetables to grow and integrating them into his aforementioned epicurean creations. Ron actively micro blogs on technology, alternative energy, medical advances, global warming and anything else that interests him on his Twitter account @disasterguy13. As a curious experimenter and prankster Ron has not accidentally burnt or blown anything up anything in at least ten years.
